Did you catch the Barnes and Noble news story yesterday? Apparently in 63 stores hackers hacked the pin pad to steal customer pins. Read more on the NY Times. CA, FL, NY, NJ, PA, RI had stores. See the list of impacted stores.
It means that if you have recently shopped at a store and used a debit card, you should change your pin immediately. You should also check your bank statements and call if you have seen any suspicious activity.
