There are newer versions of this one. But this is great and you can find discounts on games everywhere. We purchased games at $5 and below a bunch of times. Target also runs clearances on the games, so we have gotten more bang for our buck. Great for long car rides.

We have been taking out of the library for a couple months the Leapster Videos. My daughters love them and while it's not the way we are teaching reading, it is definitely helping them with letter and sound recognition.

Amazon has them discounted. But with Amazon prices change throughout the day.
